THE BIJOUX BRODÉS
Hand-embroidered on felt using the “cannetille” technique, Macon&Lesquoy’s embroidered jewelry draws its inspiration from the high precision and quality of military insignias. The brooches are designed in Paris and hand-made in a workshop in Pakistan, where the craftsmen’s traditional skills have been praised for several generations.
The cannetille method uses a fine wire coiled around a needle to form tendrils that are cut and stitched onto the fabric just like beads and presented in a black velvet box.
