A subtle statement, these lovely earrings are cut from Mercury dimes - coins minted from 1916-1945. In addition to being a conversation starter, they are lovely pieces that will look great with everything.
Each antique Mercury dime is hand-cut with a silver post and strong bullet clutch ear nuts.
Side note: Though they are commonly referred to as Mercury dimes, the image that the coin designer was using was that of a young lady Liberty (she just looks like a Roman god!)
Made with great care and precision in Philadelphia - though the artist swears she didn't move there for closer access to the US Mint.
